Aaron Moruf, Software Engineer and Entrepreneur at Cap20AI since early 2025, has been named Harvard University’s 2026 Undergraduate Student Employee of the Year. Selected from more than 6,000 student employees, Aaron earned this recognition for his contributions in Community Service and Technology & Innovation.
At Cap20AI, Aaron owns the APIs and web services that connect our platform to the outside world, including LinkedIn, Microsoft Teams, wearables, email, and video/audio pipelines. He designs the architecture that allows our AI workflows to scale across new data sources and partners, and works across Python, SQL, React, and multiple LLM APIs (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to ship reliably and make practical trade-offs.
Outside of his core work, Aaron has applied his skills directly to helping others: supporting fellow Harvard students with resumes and interview prep, organizing events for student entrepreneurs, and exploring a nonprofit initiative to help underprivileged students in Trinidad and across the Caribbean access scholarships and higher-education opportunities.
A Computer Science major in Harvard’s Class of 2027, Aaron is doing the kind of work this award is meant to recognize.
Congratulations, Aaron!
