Who we are
This site is operated by Cap20AI LLC. Our office is at 331 Newman Springs Rd, Building #3, Suite #238, Red Bank, NJ 07701, United States. If you have a privacy question, write to privacy@cap20.ai.
What we collect
There are two ways information flows into our systems.
From the forms on this site
When you submit our contact, demo request, jobs application, or newsletter form, we collect what you type into the fields. That includes your name, email address, phone number where provided, and any free-text message or note. With each submission we also record the URL the form was on, the timestamp, and the IP address the request arrived from. Form submissions land in our database and trigger a notification email to the relevant inbox at Cap20AI.
From visiting the site
We run privacy-preserving analytics on every page by default. These analytics do not place cookies on your browser, do not save anything to local storage, and do not generate a tracking ID that follows you across sessions. The analytics provider derives a temporary daily identifier on its server from a combination of your IP address, browser user agent, the site host, and a salt that rotates every day. The identifier cannot be reversed back to your IP, and we never see your IP after this step.
If you click Accept on the privacy preferences banner, we enable a fuller version of analytics that uses cookies and local storage to recognize you across visits. This makes session continuity and retention analysis possible. You can withdraw consent at any time from the footer link, and we will clear the cookies and local storage tied to analytics.
We do not buy data about you from data brokers, and we do not enrich form submissions with information from third parties.
Why we collect it
For form submissions, we use the data to reply to your message, schedule a demo or hiring conversation, or send the newsletter you signed up for. The legal basis is performance of a contract or steps prior to entering one. For the newsletter specifically, the legal basis is your consent.
For analytics, we use the data to understand which pages are visited, which channels send traffic, where users get stuck, and what is broken. The legal basis for the cookieless default is our legitimate interest in operating and improving this site. The legal basis for the enhanced cookied analytics is your consent.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set any cookies or use local storage for analytics until you click Accept in the privacy preferences banner. We do save a small entry in your browser's local storage to remember your privacy choice itself. That entry is exempt from consent under EU and UK rules because it is strictly necessary to remember your decision.
If you accept, PostHog (our analytics provider) sets cookies prefixed with ph_ and writes related entries in local storage. These let us recognize the same visitor across pages and visits. If you change your mind and click Decline later, we clear those entries.
We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of vendors to run this site. Each is contractually bound to handle your data only as we instruct.
| Vendor | What they do |
|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | Hosts the site, runs the form handlers, stores form submissions, and sends notification emails. |
| PostHog, Inc. | Runs analytics. Cookieless by default, cookied if you consent. |
We do not sell your personal information.
Where data is stored
Form submissions and analytics for this site are stored on infrastructure located in the United States. If you visit from outside the US, this means your data crosses an international border. For visitors in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses with our providers.
How long we keep it
| Type | Retention |
|---|---|
| Contact, demo, and jobs form submissions | 365 days from receipt, then deleted. |
| Newsletter subscribers | Until you unsubscribe. |
| Cookieless analytics events | 12 months rolling. |
| Cookied analytics events (after consent) | 12 months rolling. |
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, delete data, restrict or object to certain processing, receive a copy of the data in a portable format, and withdraw consent for the newsletter or for cookied analytics.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@cap20.ai. We will respond within 30 days. There is no fee, but we may ask for proof of identity to make sure we deliver your data to the right person.
You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office. In the EU it is the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
California residents
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you rights to know, delete, correct, and limit the sharing of personal information we hold about you. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email privacy@cap20.ai. We honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser as a request to opt out of cookied analytics.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact privacy@cap20.ai and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools and processes change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent material change. If a change meaningfully expands how we use your data, we will post a notice on the homepage for a reasonable period.
